Jim Corbett National Park
Located in the Ramnagar, mountainous district of Nainital, Jim Corbett national park that is a part of the larger Corbett Tiger reserve is home to a large number of tigers. If you're lucky, you may spot a white tiger also.
The Total area of Corbett nation park is 1318.54 square kilometers. Jim Corbett has tiger populations of 160, that makes this park the most significant bastion of this species in India.
How to reach: Ramnagar is around 5 hours drive from New Delhi.
Things to do in park: Drive around the park to catch a glance of the wildlife, try angling at Kosi river, enjoy the Corbett falls
Species to see: Tigers, spotted deer, Elephants, Golden jackal, Sambar deers, Birds
Opening & Closing times: Best to go to the park is from mid November to mid June. The Park is open from early morning 6 am to 10 am and then from 2 pm to 6 pm. The Park charges are 200/- INR for domestic and 1000/- INR for a foreigner.
